Program Manager - Embedded

**What you’ll do:**

This role is to perform NPI / NTI program management in Critical Systems division of ES EMEA group. Candidate is expected to lead programs on embedded products. Candidate shall work with technical experts, product strategy, sales, SCM, quality, marketing and manufacturing plants in order to manage the product development, launch and sustenance. Candidate must have demonstrated experience in project schedule, budget management, stakeholder management, cross functional team communication, milestone planning and execution with status updates to leadership from time to time.

Work with Portfolio manager and drive end to end global project execution

1) Manages an Integrated Program Team using clear methodology to Plan, Track & Execute to achieve program objectives. Leverages core project management skills, anticipates challenges and makes proactive adjustments to meet commitments

2) Planning: Locks down requirements and develops comprehensive program management plans to achieve objectives and meet commitments. Program Management Plan includes Scope, Budget, WBS, Schedule, Resource, Risk Management, Capital, Communications, etc.

3) Resource Management : Executes effective resource management of allocated human and material resources. Responsible for working with Team members and resource managers to ensure allocations meet program needs and any gaps are identified and effectively mitigated or escalated.

4) Scope Management : Baselines the program, manages the requirements and considers the full business scenario to effectively control & navigate scope challenges. Facilitiates discusssions & decision making with internal & external stakeholders for scope clarity

5) Phase Gate Methodology: Ensures that all members of the Program Team execute the program plan in adherence with standard phase gate methodology. Works with cross functionalteam to meet DGC expectations

6) Risk & Opportunity Management :Understands risk reserve methodology, proactively mitigates program risks and takes advantage of opportunities.

7) Execute integrated program manager role from initiating, planning, executing, control and closing.

8) Ensure project charter, project contract, resource map, communication plan, project plan and other required documents are available and updated.

9) Ensure proper scope with in/out requirements is documented with the customer approval. Scope management plan in place and adhered to.

10) Understands and can collaborate with different team members on the schedule definition using concepts as wall map, MSP scheduling tools, resource levelling / smoothing tools are used,

11) Plan and manage business case. Has understanding of cost estimates, cost baseline techniques and can implement the same for projects.

12) Plan, manage and control communication plan for the project life cycle. Has proven and extremely good communication skills.

13) Build a strong pipeline of talent by developing and nurturing the team.

14) Certifications: PMP highly preferred for this role.

15) Proficiency in MS Project

**Qualifications:**

+ B.E. / B Tech / M Tech Embedded

+ 7 + Years (BE); 4+ years (M Tech)

**Skills:**

+ PMP,Microsoft Project Plan, Advanced Excel,

+ Program Management experience on embedded products

+ Developing to fully demonstrating in Program and Project Management methodologies, processes and tools

+ Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation (SAPM or PMP) highly recommended

+ Good communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton management and customer

+ High proficiency in preparing and managing schedule using Microsoft Project software.

+ Ability to work effectively in team environment and independently.

+ Demonstrated problem-solving ability and an innovative mind set.

+ Strategic planning ability and strong organizational skills.
