Job Description
Smith Industries, Inc., one of the oldest and largest scrap metal recycling companies on the East Coast, is looking to add to our team by hiring a new Industrial Electrician.
Full-time salaried position available with an industrial company involved with the recycling industry.
Requirements:
· Proficient in safe working practices on 480 Volt. 3 phase starters and VFDs
· Well versed in LOTOTO
· Proper switching techniques
· NFPA70E training is preferred.
· Strong troubleshooting skills
· Some knowledge of PLC troubleshooting
Please note that you must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary. Some mandatory over-time will be required.
This is an outside job so you will have to deal with the elements. This position is full-time. Insurance and paid time off become available after your 90-day probationary employment period. Enrollment in our 401K is granted after your one-year anniversary date of employment.
