Job Description
Packaging Technicians will report directly to the Packaging Group Leader. This position will have primary responsibility for packaging (both sterile and non-sterile) operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Verify products are correct and perform inspection of product using precision measuring equipment (such as calipers and micrometers) as applicable for product identification, prior to packaging
· Verify paperwork is complete and accurate, ensuring all products meet internal quality standards and customer specifications
· Package product per setup sheet specifications
· Accurately compile final paperwork and verify/review job completion
· Print and apply labels as necessary
· Run packaging, sealing, and testing machinery
· Compile Certificate of Compliance documentation packages according to customer requirements
· Collaborate with Quality Engineers, Process Engineers, and Manufacturing Engineers to resolve questions and concerns as they arise
· Maintain a clean and organized work area
· Assist and train others as requested
Education and/or Experience
· Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
· ISO 13485 experience preferred

Environmental & Physical Demands
· Manufacturing environment: sitting or standing for long periods of time is required
· May require repetitive motions
· May require working in isolated space (i.e., clean room) for periods of time
· May require special attire (gowns, hairnets, etc.) if working in a clean room environment
· Occasional exposure to loud noise
