You'll be assisting with jobsite inspections, conducting safety meetings, delivering training, and employee outreach. In this role, you will support field operations much of the time, and on occasion, assist with safety claims and administration.

Responsibilities:

Proactively develop meaningful, lasting relationships with our workforce and the GECO safety team through the demonstrated care and compassion for their well-being and prosperity.

Serve and uphold Our Guarantees and foundation of well-being and prosperity by supporting Guarantee's core safety and health systems.

Contribute to administration of safety management software system by monitoring reports, updating access for new hires/terms and share analytics from the software.

Assist in maintaining and updating injury logs.

Provide support in training and education efforts by scheduling, tracking, and filing related documentation.

Assist in Creating and formatting safety bulletins, incident alerts, and internal messaging regarding safety initiatives and events.

Other duties as assigned by manager.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Ability to develop relationships, act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Prioritize time management skills and attention to detail.

Strong organization and writing skills, attention to detail.

Inquisitive in nature, applying discernment with openness to new ideas and process improvement.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new, innovative technology.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Enrolled as a full-time student in the safety science department focused on the construction field.
