What you’ll do

Work with a team that designs, builds, maintains, and optimizes a real-time, event-driven data processes in AWS.

Lead a center of excellence for a horizontal analytics and data engineering team(s).

Ensure proper execution and alignment with data vision and objectives

Take lead in strategies to acquire, store, process, and transform data across the entire enterprise.

Share your knowledge of data engineering and analytics with the rest of your team and mentor application developers in standard methodologies in developing real time data solutions.

Ensure all systems and processes are fully supervised and metrics captured to analyze system and data pipeline performance.

Design end-to-end solutions to support key business datasets.

Support analysts and data scientists and business users with their data requirements.

Data modelling for production applications.

Contribute to continuous improvement of all data-related platforms and solutions

Drive the adoption of standard processes in data governance, data management, and data security.

Develop and maintain performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of data engineering and analytics efforts.

Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering and analytics to drive continuous improvement.

Why we will love you

3+ years of leadership experience leading impactful technical teams centered in a culture of excellence.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field is preferred.

7+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or a related field, with a focus on managing sophisticated data projects and leading teams.

Expert in programming languages commonly used in data engineering and analytics, such as Python, SQL, R, or Scala.

Experience designing and implementing data architecture strategies that support the collection, storage, and analysis of large volumes of structured and unstructured data on analytical platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake).

Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Demonstrated expertise in implementing sophisticated analytics techniques, such as machine learning, predictive modeling, and data visualization.

Hands-on experience with ML model training, evaluation, and deployment, using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.

Familiarity with deployment technologies and frameworks for scalable and reliable ML model serving, such as Kubernetes, Docker, or TensorFlow Serving.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multi-functional teams and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.

Proven track record of delivering high-quality, actionable insights that drive business value and inform strategic decision-making. Oversee data quality initiatives to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data assets.
