Requirements of a Combustion & Boiler Service Technician:
2-5 Years of Related Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Associates & Some College Experience (A Plus)
Military Service (A Plus)
Must be Courteous to Customers, Vendors & Employees

Responsibilities of a Combustion & Boiler Service Technician:
Trouble-shoot combustion and boiler systems and make repairs as required, including mechanical repairs, electrical repairs, and instrumentation repairs.
Set burner air/fuel ratios, mainly for natural gas systems but also including fuel oil and LPG.
Perform semi-annual and annual combustion safety checks/verifications.
Service, maintain and repair combustion and boiler systems.
Perform NFPA/FM/CSD-1 tests on combustion and boiler systems.
Set up and commission combustion/boiler systems and assist on combustion and boiler system repairs, upgrades and replacements.
