Salary:

IRISNDT has an immediate need for experienced RT Level II Technicians to work on multiple on-going, long-term projects which are located all over the U.S. Must have Digital Radiography experience and be willing to travel consistently throughout the year.

Level II Radiographers – must have sufficient technical knowledge and skills to be qualified to set up and calibrate equipment and to interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications. The RT Level II Technician must be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods for which qualified and shall exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of trainees and NDT Level I personnel. The RT Level II Technician must be able to organize, and report results of NDT tests.

Required Skills and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Current IRRSP Card or State Card required for Radiographers.

SNT Level II certification in RT required for Radiographers is required.

SNT Level II certifications in MT, PT, UTT will be considered an asset.

Digital Radiography (DR) experience required (must be able to shoot profiles).

Computed Radiography (CR) experience considered an asset.

Technical background in NDT methods and procedures with demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections.

Must have working knowledge of NDT equipment.

Strong report writing skills.

Must have 40 hours of Radiation Safety Training.

Valid TWIC Card required (will be required to know PIN # in some locations).

Must be capable of following verbal and written instructions.

Capable of training assistant radiographers.

Current SPRAT and/or IRATA Rope Access certification will be considered an asset.

Valid Driver’s License and pre-access drug and alcohol testing required.

Pre-employment background checks will be required.

Must be willing to travel throughout the year.

Physical Requirements:

Move, carry, and lift objects 50 lbs.

Must be able to walk, stand, bend, reach, and climb.

Remain constantly active throughout shift.

Vision abilities: close vision, distance vision.

Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
