Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Duties Performed but not limited to:
Assist children both physically and developmentally with the transition of multiple programs and in different spaces throughout the facility.
Assess/help assess children and recognize developmental goals and milestones and communicate those to parents.
Responsible for all aspects of care for children enrolled in our school and upholding Karter School’s policies and philosophy.
Facilitate engaging activities that foster a love of learning for each child.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
BA Degree in Childhood Education or a closely related field / CDA
Passion for teaching and working with children in group settings and individually
Excellent customer service skills in person and on the phone
Comfortable with the team-based work structure
Ability to demonstrate flexibility on the job
Strong written and verbal skills
Initiative, conscientiousness, and comprehensive follow-through in areas of responsibility
Excellent health and agility to perform job responsibilities of a teacher of young children
Ability to consistently model superior teaching and caregiving skills
