Salary:

Healing Home is seeking a dedicated, experienced, and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Home Health team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our home health services meet and exceed industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular reviews and audits of clinician notes, care plans, and service delivery to ensure to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Implement standardized templates and guidelines for clinician documentation, incorporating best practices and regulatory standards.

Maintain detailed records of audit findings, trends, and actions taken to address documentation issues, and provide regular reports to management on documentation quality metrics.

Identify any discrepancies, errors, or areas for improvement in documentation and work closely with clinical staff to address and rectify them.

Collaborate with clinical staff and management to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address deficiencies. Provide training and support to staff members on quality assurance processes and best practices.

Participate in external audits and surveys as needed, and assist with corrective actions and follow-up as necessary.

Stay up-to-date on changes in regulations, guidelines, and best practices related to home health quality assurance.

Qualifications:

Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse (required)

Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or related field (preferred).

Minimum of 4 years of experience in home health quality assurance or a similar role.

Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations and accreditation standards for home health agencies.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electronic health record (EHR) systems, specifically KINNSER.
