Job Summary:

We are looking for an ERP/IT Manager to join our team in Woodbury, NY. This role is responsible for integrating and maintaining our Epicor ERP applications and software throughout the company. The manager also leads and manages the design and implementation of business solutions, improving business process efficiencies by utilizing our ERP Modules and technology.

Responsibilities

Consult with business units and departments to determine ERP requirements.

Perform diagnostic tests and resolve issues.

Install and integrate ERP software/apps.

Provide training and support for end-users.

Write scripts.

Design user-friendly interfaces and functionalities.

Prepare technical and training manuals.

Interact with executive leadership to align IT strategy with business strategy while adhering to company policies and industry regulations.

Assist and advise users to find the most suitable solution for their needs by developing user-friendly functionalities and interfaces.

Be responsible for working with supervisors and staff to ensure adherence to standards and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of application systems.

Provide guidance to executives for determining system logistics and strategy from customer service and support perspectives across multiple offices and divisions.

Analyze problems/needs, research possible solutions and implementations using existing functionality; implement, test, and present solutions and recommend customizations if necessary.

Utilize cross-functional collaboration and communication to quickly understand, troubleshoot, find root causes, and resolve system issues.

Act as a liaison with the business stakeholders and IT to gather business requirements, specify processes, and recommend solutions.

Provide technical support to Winholt associates during production, shipping, and distribution processes to complete fulfillment of all Winholt orders.

Manage technical resources to ensure Winholt associates can complete deadlines and achieve objectives.

Oversee our internal IT infrastructure, including but not limited to the Epicor ERP system, WAN, LAN, IP Telephony, Autodesk, and EDI Infrastructure.

Demonstrate the ability to lead strategic planning, results-based management, and reporting.

CORE Experience & Requirements:

10+ years of previous work experience.

Manufacturing/Distribution background required.

Active Directory Management.

Add/drop/change user management.

DNS & DHCP

Printer Management

File sharing management

GPO management

Back up Exec. Exp

Meraki Firewalls

Experience managing DNS records for web and email services.

Ring Central

MS Office 365/ Teams.

IOS & Android Support.

Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

Business acumen with a demonstrated ability to lead strategic planning, results-based management, and reporting.

Understanding of typical business administration department processes and functions.

Knowledge of Cloud Computing.

Project management.

Budgeting and forecasting.

Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate, lead, and mentor.

Problem solving & analytical thinking.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or technical school degree or certificate.

Physical Requirements

Able to work in a typical office environment.

You must be able to work on the shop or warehouse floor and follow Winholt’s requirements for using PPE.

Sit, stoop, bend, crouch, stand, walk, and carry.
