Production Manager

Provide hands-on leadership to our manufacturing team specializing in wood cabinet doors and drawer boxes
Lead, inspire, and coach a team to guide them toward optimal performance and meeting production targets
Conduct meetings with team leads regularly to discuss issues, create accountability, and provide mentoring and professional development
Attend morning meetings to assist team leads and encourage continuous improvement
Keep orders flowing and communicate any delays to the Customer Service manager and VP of Operations
Develop strategies to enhance production efficiency, minimize waste, and improve overall operational effectiveness
Uphold stringent quality standards throughout the production life cycle
Foster a collaborative work environment through effective communication and teamwork between various departments. Ensure proper interdepartmental cross-training and appropriate labor allocation
Promote a secure and safe work environment with strict adherence to safety protocols

Keystone Wood Specialties, a family-owned and operated manufacturer of custom cabinet doors and drawer fronts, seeks a Production Manager to lead our manufacturing team toward future success. Our Ideal Production Manager:
Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in wood, cabinetry, furniture, or related industry is preferred. 5+ years of solid leadership or coaching and a track record of achieving production targets through effective team development. In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
Computer Savvy: Experience with CNC and computer-operated systems. Able to navigate production and priority reports.
Adaptable: Keeps a positive outlook & attitude while finding the best ways to manage and continually improve processes and procedures for better efficiency.
Active: You will spend 80-90% of your time on the shop floor. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., bend, kneel, & stoop.
Mentoring: Someone who loves to coach and lead, encouraging everyone to give their best and find new & better ways to accomplish company goals. A strong leader who inspires others.
Problem-Solver: Identifies & resolves problems by gathering & analyzing information; ability to develop alternate solutions.
Ethical: Treat people respectfully, follow through on commitments, inspire trust, and work with integrity.
