Additionally, they will be responsible for continuing the Beyond the Book traditions of second grade. Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a 1st Grade Classroom Teacher at Topeka Collegiate. The Classroom Teacher will be responsible for daily lesson planning and instruction, curriculum development, classroom management, and fostering a positive learning environment. The Classroom Teacher will also communicate with parents and collaborate with other faculty members to ensure a well-rounded educational experience for students.

Qualifications

Curriculum Development, Teaching, and Elementary Education skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Passion for education and working with young students

Ability to create engaging and inclusive lesson plans

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field

Experience in a classroom setting is preferred

Understanding of child development and different learning styles
