CSP's IT Practice has partnered with a locally based, commercial general contractor in their search for a Technical Business Analyst. This position is responsible for collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting datasets to provide insights and support data-driven decision making. Supporting the technical operations of the company, ensuring that all technical systems are working properly and efficiently. The position will work closely with the Director of IT to ensure all technical systems are up-to-date and properly maintained. This position will be responsible for the deployment and management of computers, mobile devices and cellular technologies working closely with the managed service provider.
Data Analytics
Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency
Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data
Develop and maintain automated data pipelines for efficient data processing and analysis
Using approved analytics solutions/software, create visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate to stakeholders
Conduct analysis and predictive modeling to extract insights and promote informed decision-making
Collaborate with operations and support teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions
Monitor data quality and integrity, identifying and addressing anomalies or discrepancies
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization techniques via webinars, conferences, and other trade resources
Contribute to the development of data governance policies and standards
Support ad-hoc analysis requests and provide timely and accurate insights to key stakeholders
Technology
Provide excellent technical support to end-user community
Research new technologies and trends to satisfy the growing needs of the organization
Laptops / iPads / Phones / Cellular technology / Software Solutions
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, processes, and procedures. [SOPs]
Provide new hire/intern equipment and technology orientation
Maintain vendor relationships for hardware, software and SaaS solutions
Manage SaaS solutions access and permissions
Schedule and coordinate technology upgrades
Manage and support conference room technology for all locations
Assess and procure hardware equipment and accessories for all locations
Support and manage jobsite network and technology setup
Cellular / Accessories / Cameras
Responsible for maintaining asset inventory and assignments
Process all I.T. related hardware and software invoices
Coordinate and work with Director of IT for new office technology and networks
Manage cellular phone accounts, invoices, deployments, upgrades and inventory
Attend weekly and bi-weekly I.T. review meetings
Develop and maintain SOPs, user documentation and technical manuals
Managed Service Provider [MSP]
Order and coordinate new device procurement and configuration with MSP
Coordinate new hires/interns network account and permissions
Communicate offboarding to MSP to disable/remove network accounts
Manage and escalate support issues with managed service provider
Special Projects:
Work with Director of IT on projects as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Information systems, analytics, or equivalent preferred
MS 365 – Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint proficiency
Basic knowledge of local and wide area networks
Familiarity with data modeling, warehousing, and database concepts
Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organization and time management
Proven ability to present clearly
Ability to work independently and within team environments
Strong ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
