Qualifications
Must be able to setup, operate and troubleshoot a CNC or a manual machine with limited supervision and guidance
Must have basic understanding and ability to maintain and utilize grinders, saws, and other shop machinery whether electric or air pneumatic
Must understand work order instructions
Must be able to operate multiple pieces of equipment assigned
Must have a strong knowledge of machine shop mathematics
Required Education And Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
2-4 years’ work experience required
Provided Personal Protective Equipment, as well as steel-toed boots or shoes, must be worn at all times
Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
Responsibilities
To machine a finished product using machining equipment, tooling, blueprints, and written instructions according to company and or customer specification in accordance with company policies

Read and interpret blueprints, or work from verbal and/or written instruction, sketches etc
Use precision measuring tooling including gauging of all types
Perform required inspections of production parts to verify quality of part
Verify correct identification, quantities, and production of product per work order
Meet and/or exceed production quality and quantity standard
Troubleshoot majority of issues that arise during processes with limited assistance
Assist in cross training other employees
Assist in helping with troubleshooting on relatable issues within the machine shop
Maintain a safe and clean working environment
This job operates in an office and manufacturing environment
This role routinely uses tools and other such equipment during the course of the job duties
