Job Title- Director, Data Analytics - BSFI (Banking Services Financials and Insurance)

We are seeking an experienced Data Analytics Director focused on the BSFI vertical, you will assume a pivotal role in leading our data analytics initiatives, providing pre-sales support, and delivering technical advisory services customized to the unique needs of our BSFI clients. You will collaborate closely with our sales, marketing, and technical teams to develop innovative data-driven solutions that address the distinct challenges and opportunities within the BSFI sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pre-sales Support:

o Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand the specific requirements and pain points of BSFI clients, and develop tailored data analytics proposals and solutions.

o Conduct client meetings and presentations to articulate the value proposition of our data analytics services in addressing the unique challenges faced by the BSFI sector.

o Work with the sales team to craft responses to RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFIs (Request for Information) with customized data analytics solutions designed for BSFI clients.

2. Go-to-Market Strategy:

o Develop and execute go-to-market strategies specifically targeting the BSFI sector, identifying key stakeholders, industry trends, and competitive positioning opportunities.

o Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted collateral, case studies, and thought leadership content highlighting our expertise in data analytics within the BSFI domain.

o Actively participate in BSFI industry events, conferences, and forums to promote our data analytics services and establish thought leadership within the sector.

3. Technical Advisory:

o Serve as a trusted advisor to BSFI clients, providing strategic guidance on leveraging data analytics to drive innovation, mitigate risks, and improve operational efficiency.

o Lead discovery sessions with BSFI clients to understand their unique data landscape, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.

o Design and oversee the implementation of advanced data analytics solutions customized to the specific needs and regulatory environment of BSFI clients..

4. Team Leadership:

Manage and mentor a team of data analysts and consultants specializing in the BSFI vertical, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

Provide guidance and support to team members in delivering high-quality data analytics solutions that meet the unique needs and regulatory requirements of BSFI clients.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our data analytics processes and methodologies within the BSFI vertical..

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.

· Overall 15+ years in data analytics consulting and at least 10+ years leadership role within a consulting firm with a focus on data analytics, advanced analytics, Cloud and Artificial Intelligence.

· 5+ years in designing, solutioning the Snowflake, Databricks and Big data tools including DataOps, Data engineering, Data Integration, Data Orchestration and Data Marketplace

· Experience in a leadership role within a consulting firm or similar environment, with a focus on data analytics in the industry. Deep understanding of data analytics technologies, methodologies, and best practices relevant to the BSFI domain.

· Proficiency in data analytics tools and technologies, such as Python, R, SQL, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

· Deep technical understanding of major cloud tools like Azure, GCP, AWS, data analytics technologies, methodologies, and best practices.

· Strong technical experience in major BI reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, ThoughtSpot etc.

· Strong business acumen and ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.

· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

· Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering data analytics projects from conception to completion for fortune clients

· At least 10+ years of experience in pre-sales support, proposal development, and client engagement.

· Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.

· Relevant certifications (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Certified Analytics Professional, AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty) are a plus.
