The Specific Role Where You Can Make a Difference?

We are seeking a self-motivated candidate for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst role. This role will be immersed in the business working with engineers, geologists, field personnel, accounting/finance, IT, supply chain, and other functional groups/departments to help optimize performance within our assets. This role can be based in Houston (preferred) or Fort Worth, Texas.

Some specific duties include, but are not limited to:

· Ownership of development/maintenance of dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) from diverse sources (both internal and external) to identify benchmarks, patterns, trends, efficiencies/deficiencies, and develop applicable plans and forecasts.

· Analyze and report by creating data visualization tools to present to internal and external stakeholders.

· Collaborate with internal teams to manage data flows through systems and departments ensuring proper governance processes.

· Performs cost analysis and identifies opportunities for reducing operating expenses.

· Continually identify and improve data sources, processes and reporting to create value.

· Connecting and maintaining SQL Databases (support governance and process management).

Qualifications / Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field – engineering, finance, data science, mathematics, economics, computer science, or similar. Advanced degree is preferred.

Proven success creating value and helping organizations make decisions through data mining, analysis, interpretation, and visualization, preferably within oil & gas (upstream and/or midstream).

Demonstrated Professional SQL, Spotfire, Azure, PowerBI, Excel proficiency required. Python experience preferred.

Deliver a timely, accurate, and high-quality work product.

Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, both verbal and written, to include the ability to create reports and presentations and appropriately influence at all levels.

Keen attention to detail and the ability to safeguard sensitive data.
