We are looking for a skilled and professional registered massage therapist to join our Brand-New office located at Trinity Hills right beside Canada Olympic Park in Calgary Alberta.

You will be responsible for providing massage therapy services to clients with various needs, such as pain relief, stress management, injury recovery, or wellness promotion. You will also educate and advise clients on how to improve their posture, mobility, and quality of life.

To be successful as a registered massage therapist, you should have excellent hands-on and communication skills, as well as a passion for helping people achieve their health and wellness goals. You should also be able to work collaboratively with other health care professionals and follow ethical and professional standards.

Responsibilities:

Assess clients' physical condition, medical history, and goals.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using various massage techniques and modalities.

Provide therapeutic and relaxation massages to clients in a safe and comfortable manner.

Monitor and evaluate clients' progress and adjust the treatment plan as needed.

Educate and counsel clients on how to prevent or manage their condition, and recommend home care exercises and products.

Maintain accurate and confidential records of client care and treatment.

Keep up to date with the latest research and best practices in massage therapy.

Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.

Requirements:

Diploma or certificate in massage therapy from an accredited institution.

Valid license to practice as a registered massage therapist in the province of Alberta Canada.

City of Calgary Massage Practitioner license.

Liability Insurance that meets or exceeds the minimum standard.

Proficient in various massage techniques and modalities, such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal, etc.

Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and kinesiology.

Ability to perform physical assessments and apply appropriate pressure.

Ability to communicate effectively with clients and other health care providers.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong ethical and professional conduct.

Empathetic and client-centered approach.
