Community Multi-Services, Inc. (CMS) provides residential Group Homes, servicing Developmentally Disabled Citizens (DDC), with quality care in the Washington DC Area. The Manager is responsible for providing a wholesome living environment for each Individual (DDC).
QUALIFICATIONS:
A College degree is required within the Human Services disciplines with one (1) or more years of experience in management. A valid driver's license is required with a good driving record. Must be able to supervise a staff of at least 10 people. Must have excellent communication and written skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organize and maintain the record-keeping system of personnel records, Individual (DDC) records, monthly progress report forms, incident and accident reports as well as illness reports.
Ensure the Individual Support Plans (ISP) and Behavior Support Plans (BSP) are developed and implemented.
Perform day-to-day management of the home, care, training, documentation, active treatment, and supervision of Developmentally Disabled Citizens (DDC).
Be fully knowledgeable of each Individual (DDC) to ensure the implementation of each Support Plan (ISP).
Participate in ongoing training
Attend all Management Meetings.
DUTIES:
Train staff of group homes in the daily care of the Individuals
Supervise the group home staff with the purchases and preparation of authorized meal plans.
Coordinate with the CMS Nursing Staff the Individual regular and emergency appointments (i.e., medical, shopping, day programs, courts, etc.)
Money management, budgeting, and banking for the Individual (DDC)
Plan structured weekends, holiday activities, and vacations for the Individuals (DDC).
Provide group home coverage when needed.
