R & W Distributors Inc. is a well-established building material supply company looking to fill the position of Branch Manager responsible for all aspects of this business unit and P&L in our Bonita Springs location

This is a P&L leader of our branch reporting to the President of R&W. The Branch manager will oversee and be responsible for all aspects of the business including sales, customer service, distribution, reporting, safety, operations and inventory management. Must be a strong leader who can coach and motivate our team and run the day-to-day operations of our Bonita Springs branch location. Must ensure the delivery of quality customer service and the achievement of sales, productivity, and profitability goals.

This position requires a proactive, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be extremely detail oriented.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Hire and train qualified candidates for operations of the branch.

Oversee the day-to-day workflow of the branch.

Will train hands on in each position of the company in order to fully understand the proper workflow as well as to develop knowledge of proper efficiencies needed.

Process customer work orders in our company accounting software according to procedure.

Assist at our customer pick up counter in taking and loading customer material orders.

Operate a forklift to unload incoming material, load material onto customer vehicles and move company material as needed.

Collaborate with other branch managers and purchasing manager regarding inventory and customer delivery needs.

Collaborate with company President to set performance standards. Standards may be based on financial and operational goals and required compliance with internal, local, state, and federal policies, procedures, and regulations.

Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure that goals and objectives are clearly communicated with branch staff; provide guidance and leadership to enable staff to meet these goals and objectives.

Adhere personally to company procedures while also enforcing team compliance.

Identify training needs and opportunities; develop and implement a plan for meeting those needs.

Maintain and develop positive relationships with existing and prospective customers, demonstrating excellent customer service and setting an example for other staff.

Conduct and take responsibility for inventory counts as needed.

Maintain a safe working environment.

Maintain repairs on equipment and trucks as needed in compliance with safety rules and regulations, and other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Minimum three (3) years' experience managing a branch or distribution business operation in the construction industry.

Undergraduate degree in business or finance preferred.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to prioritize tasks and delegating when appropriate.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Experienced with sitting forklift operation.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods standing or sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 90 pounds at times.

Our branch is open Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
