We are looking for Executive Chef for one of our premium clients

Location- Hyderabad

Overall Purpose of the Role

- To plan, organize and direct the preparation and cooking of food ensuring that the Company’s reputation for food quality is enhanced with the clients and customers of Multiple industries. Responsible for compliance of Health, Safety, Food Hygiene regulations. Drive sales through centrally driven menu plans and promotions and ensure compliance through preferred suppliers. Provide high quality service to customers and client in line with a food service offer that is applicable to sector and client. Drive new customer acquisition in bidding process, tight control on cost relate to raw material, manpower and process.

Key responsibilities

- To develop and maintain good working relationships with the Client

- Take an active part in any unit sales promotions and make suggestions to help increase sales. Ensure your teams support and drive sales by implementing central marketing promotions

To deal with customer requests promptly and politely

Listen to customer comments and deal with them as appropriate or pass on to a more senior member of staff to ensure prompt follow up action is taken

Drive and find newer streams of revenue basis needs and opportunity

To ensure portion control, correct preparation and storage methods avoid wastage and keep down costs

Adherence to standard recipes. Plan and cost weekly menus, special events and hospitality requests ensuring that they achieve and maintain budgeted food costs if centrally driven offers are not available

Ensure all ordering is carried out using nominated suppliers, stock is maintained at appropriate levels Ensure weekly stocktaking is carried out.

Ensure Customer satisfaction through survey and minimum escalation of customer complaints

Daily feedback monitoring and the action plans

Achieving profitability through driving maximum participation of customers on the site

Tight control on Food cost and other consumables

All purchasing compliance is achieved

Ability to understand the business, profit and loss figures and planning the menu ensuring to achieve the profitability with minimum wastage

Personal Attributes:

Ø Bachelor or diploma in hotel management

Ø Atleast 10-11 yrs of total experience

Ø Relevant industry experience preferred – large convention hotel, handling of multiple units, manufacturing kitchens,

Ø HSEQ (Health, safety, environment and quality knowledge)

Ø Should have managed large teams and operations

Ø In-depth understanding of food from different states of India

Ø Understanding of HACCP/FSSMS

Ø Entrepreneurial drive would be preferred

Ø Seller qualities

Ø Creative, innovative within limited resources

Ø Somebody who can handle pressure situations,

Ø Extremely good in planning and organizing

Ø Clarity of thought and being able to express

Ø Leadership

Ø Travelling to various sites upto 60%

Ø Supply chain understanding

Ø Vendor management skills

Ø Can take people along

Ø Demonstrate innovation in food planning and menu development

Ø Passion about food and customer service

Ø Knowledge of working to a budget

Ø Food Hygiene Certificate

Ø Hands on experience in MS office, excel, good in numbers

Ø Excellent client handling skills
