The HRIS Senior Applications Analyst uses technical and project management skills to design, implement, enhance and maintain systems, tools and applications related to human resources. The successful candidate is able to create and execute project plans from design through activation. They are proficient in developing documentation for complex processes and quickly analyzing data using SQL and Excel. They are also able to support bi-weekly payroll processing and resolve system and balancing issues for an organization with 21,000 employees.

Responsibilities

Have a thorough understanding of HRIS applications and their integration with other internal and external systems.

Assist in the design, development, build, testing, implementation, training, upgrading support and overall management of HRIS systems.

Provide project management for the implementation and configuration of new systems, ensuring key deliverables are met and expectations are exceeded.

Build and maintain positive working relationships with business stakeholders in various departments across a large multi-site organization.

Facilitate regular status updates and progress reports with stakeholders.

Manage tickets in the ServiceNow platform and provide comprehensive, timely user support and follow-up.

Develop SQL, Cognos and PowerBI reports.

Serve as a role model and mentor to other HRIS analysts and assist with the training and onboarding of new analysts.

Work collaboratively with other members of Northside Hospital’s Information

Systems and Technology team while embracing our workplace culture, project management methodology and implementation processes.

Continuously build skills by learning new HRIS technology and business processess.

Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

1. B.S. Degree in Nursing, Business, Systems, or related field or Five (5) years healthcare financial or clinical experience

2. Two (2) years healthcare financial, clinical systems, or training experience (with B.S. Degree)

3. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.

PREFERRED:1. Five (5) plus years healthcare financial or clinical systems experience (with B.S. Degree)

2. Experience in Project Management

3. Knowledge of McKesson applications
