As a Financial Analyst Intern, you will gain insight to corporate finance and have the chance to contribute to business issues and often include interaction with senior leadership of Tektronix. We have a robust rotational program for our Finance team and the internship experience is crafted to reflect this as much as possible. Throughout the summer, interns will work on 2-3 main projects spanning multiple organizations, shadow strategic meetings, tackle ad hoc analyses, and conduct 1:1s across organizations to gain exposure to cross-functional business areas.

Requirements:

Conduct regression analysis on external data to resolve correlation with company sales and develop a market proxy model

Model new, critical metrics for manufacturing leaders to glean insights into indirect productivity trends

Analyze past and future internal research and development expense profiles to uncover investment trends to share with engineering leaders

All internship projects conclude with presentation of your work to the CFO and other senior leaders

Qualifications:

Must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Economics

A motivated and driven individual with high degree of integrity would be ideal

Works optimally within a team to meet sophisticated business needs

Ideal candidate will have strong analytical, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Growth mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
