Position: Senior Salesforce Administrator

Responsibility:

You will provide support to the organization through the customization and configuration of the Salesforce Lightening platform. This includes but is not limited to CPQ, Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud & PSA applications. Familiarity with APEX or Custom Code is preferred, but not required. You will manage the Salesforce.com database, assist in more complex report printing and be able to provide training and support to all internal users where required. Additionally, you will provide administrative support to the Sales and Service teams and coordinate related projects as assigned. The Salesforce Administrator will help end users with report creation and general navigation, helping to build a team of competent users to help drive the adoption of tools.

This is a multifaceted role with various responsibilities:

Gatekeeper of data & data structure

When any data changes are required (field additions, field changes, uploading or updating existing fields etc), this person will investigate all linkages and impacts of the data changes (reports, page views, access to information by user)

Upload data across the platform and maintain integrity of data during the process.

Identify areas where data is incomplete and work with various internal stakeholders to correct and update.

Manage/Edit/Create new or existing workflow processes.

Ability to manage existing processes & create new ones as required for workflows in Salesforce.

Create/Maintain documentations of the workflows

Create reports & manage existing reports.

Custom dashboards

Custom reports

Developing reports that will produce meaningful information for various stakeholders.

Managing reporting changes as new fields are added or existing fields are modified.

Manage Salesforce CPQ platform modules and ensure all stakeholders are kept informed of changes/additions etc.

Add new products within the CPQ platform.

Add new products to the database as new ones become available to the sales team to sell.

Ensuring that new products added do not impact existing quotes, opportunities or reports and that they fit with existing bundle structures & guided selling.

Update existing products within the CPQ platform.

Update existing products, including bundles, for things such as price changes, name changes, bundle structure changes or other.

Ensure that updates to existing products do not impact existing quotes, opportunities or reports.

May include changing product configurations to adapt to changes in accounting policies and contracts.

Update prices as dictated by sales.

Resolve error messages across platform.

Establish root of the error message and resolve in a way that allows the user to proceed and limits impact to other areas.

Manage/Edit new or existing Apex or Custom Coding

Manage existing Apex scripts should they need to change or should the scripts produce errors. Keep proper documentation of custom coding for easy reference.

Where internal processes could be improved by automation or scripts, prepare accordingly while also assessing impact to the organization as a whole.

Manage error messages that occur as a result of ongoing automation.

Ad Hoc requests from various departments to make changes to the database while ensuring data continuity. Common requests include:

Make products mutually exclusive.

Add or remove restrictions on quote process.

Update user access levels as required.

Investigate user issues, access issues, process issues or inability to perform functions that users may report.

Perform weekly operational duties in support of Salesforce, including DevOps processes, de-duplication and other data quality tasks.

Manage Salesforce security.

Create, update and maintain roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows and groups.

Develop training materials and provide training and support to Salesforce end users.

Evaluate new releases of Salesforce to determine functionality requirements and provide detailed information on how changes will apply to all affected departments/users.

Assist Customer Support team in developing KPIs, dashboards and relevant reports.

Assist existing stakeholders with roll out of projects in process.

Qualifications:

5+ years’ experience as a Salesforce Administrator

Salesforce Administrator Certification (Advanced Administrator preferred)

Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification

Working experience with Salesforce Lightning applications

Working experience building Flows, Reports & Apex code within CPQ, Sales Cloud and Service Cloud

Working experience with Milestones PM App or equivalent PSA (scheduling, logging hours against milestones & project management)

Demonstrated business analyst ability to convert data into insights and insights into business recommendations & carry through on implementation.

Experience with any of the following 3rd Party Applications tools is also beneficial: Rollup Helper, PandaDoc

Experience with ETL tools.

Experience with DevOps processes and best practices.

Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Excellent organization skills, project management experience a plus

Ability to work independently to complete tasks.

Ability to problem solve and work with others when required.
