Senior Controller

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Controller with advanced controllership experience to join our team as a consultant.

Responsibilities:

Provide financial planning and analysis support to medium-sized companies

Provide fractional controllership support to clients

Manage accounts with revenue over $3M

Manage at least 3 staff accountants/bookkeepers

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in a business discipline or equivalent, relevant experience

At least three years of experience in a controllership role

Demonstrated expertise in Accounting Software (e.g., Sage Intacct, NetSuite, etc.)

Expertise in client and people management

Experience managing an accounting department preferred

Proficient in presenting at board meetings

Strong ability to provide process improvement and software suggestions

Grants and revenue tracking experience

Able to run cash flows reports, budgets, and KPIs

Can prepare and support high-level audit requirements

Project management and non-profit experience preferred

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
