What You'll Do:
Traeger is seeking a Mill Manager to join the team. As our Mill Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing production, quality, costs, reactive and preventative maintenance, safety, and business performance metrics.
How You'll Help Us Win:
Plan, organize, direct, and run day to day operations at the mill
Set and manage direct labor schedules
Set production schedule based on forecast and material availability with cross functional partners
Responsible for documenting and effectively communicating production output and quality results daily
Ensure shipments go out on time and on quality
Work closely with onsite vendor on all business items
Responsible for uptime and maintenance on equipment
Managing KPI performance and driving excellence, formally report monthly
Drive business results based on safety, quality, delivery, cost
Collect and analyze data to find places of waste, drive continuous improvement
Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and transparency
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Minimum of 5 years of proven managerial experience
Computer Literacy (Excel, Powerpoint, MicrosoftTeams, ERP)
Business acumen in performance-based metrics
Ability to troubleshoot and issue resolutions
Practice servant leadership by working hand in hand with the crew
Demonstrated Leadership in managing a group of 12+ associates
Must be able to work independently and drive accountability
OSHA 30 certification or ability to complete within 3 months
Proven experience in the wood pellet industry is a plus
