Job Description

Duval Ford is seeking an experienced Technician. The Automotive Technician must be able to perform diagnoses and repairs in all areas, in addition to being specialized in particular areas of repair. In this role, the Technician will perform work as outlined on a repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.

Essential Duties include, but are not limited to:

Performs work as outlined on a repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.

Diagnoses cause of most malfunctions and performs repairs.

Communications with parts department to obtain needed parts.

Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended

Documents all work performed on the repair order

Road tests vehicles when required

Requirements:

Previous experience inspecting and repairing vehicles

Knowledgeable and stays abreast of federal, state and local regulations

Works in a safe manner

Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

All applicants are required to demonstrate the ability to pass all pre-employment testing to include: background checks, motor vehicle check and pre-employment drug test and be able to present a valid driver's license.
