Job Description

Develops and maintain marketing plan and sales budget with the General Manager.

Provides sales training to front office staff.

Participates in revenue management calls.

Schedule and completes sales appointments.

Attends business, community and civic affair events in the local area.

Ensures teamwork and enhances cooperation between all departments.

Works with operations team to greet group events.

Secure group business for hotel, blocking rooms, sending contract and follow up on cut off dates.

Assists with follow up on room lists, direct bill and other requirements of previously booked business.

Facilitates inside sales leads and help with strategy to develop sales plans.

Maintain sales files and ensure accurate entry in sales system.

Organize work week to include a strong prospecting plan each week targeting business for hotel needs.

Follow company policies and procedures.

Apply
