System Administrator

Job Description

OPEXUS is seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our customer-facing custom application development and support team. You will get to know our low code case management platform, eCase, and support O&M and deployment effort for federal customers.

The System Administrator will maintain the IT infrastructure of On-Prem customer environments. This individual will maintain the network and storage for both VMware environments and monitor performance of storage and virtual networks, including LAN/WAN. The Sys Admin will maintain firmware upgrades of servers, firewall, storage, switch, and OS updates. This position will also assist with enterprise network design management and monitoring traffic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administrate 2019 & 2016 Windows OS servers in DOS enclaves

• Apply patches & vulnerability fixes routinely to maintain servers compliancy

• Work with ISSO to maintain ATO

• Be comfortable working in an agile environment where priorities frequently change

• Troubleshoot unique issues as they arise to maintain good uptime of systems and applications

• Experience with SEP & MDE preferred

• Administrate VMs through vSphere

• Familiarity with FISMA requirements (NIST 800-53)

• Attend cybersecurity meetings as main POC for team and report to team

• Administrate Splunk server

• Track and update SSL certificates and other certificates

• IIS administration

• Documentation of servers and troubleshooting

Minimum Requirements:

• 4-6 years’ experience

• Clearance: Must be a US citizen and eligible for processing subject to investigation.

• Technologies: Operating systems: Windows 2016, Windows 2019, Windows 2022; VMware

Tools: Azure DevOps, O365

Preferred Requirements:

• Technologies: Red Hat Middleware, Microsoft Defender, Symantec Endpoint, Oracle experience, SQL server administration

• Clearance: Secret
