Job Description

Salary:

E-commerce Product Architect

Are you the ideal E-commerce Product Architect?

Summary: Are you a detail-oriented person with experience crafting SKUs, managing inventory, and auditing products? Perhaps you have experience weaving together product content, leaving no detail unnoticed. If you're nodding your head in agreement or feel strongly that you would be awesome at this, then it's time to consider joining our team at Ammunition Depot as our new E-commerce Product Architect!

This pivotal role is more than just a job - it's an opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of a company recognized three times on the Inc. 5000 list (including 2021 and 2022)! We're on the lookout for an individual who flourishes in an entrepreneurial culture, someone who is eager to share their merchandising expertise but is also skilled in data manipulation, product description updates, and data source merging. This role is for those ready to rise to the occasion and dive deep into data to drive our e-commerce success!

What will you do @ Ammunition Depot?

New SKU Set-up: Your precision and attention to detail will shine as you create new stock-keeping units (SKUs) within our systems, ensuring data accuracy and correct product classification. Your expertise in SQL and data wrangling will be crucial in manipulating and setting up product information efficiently.

Inventory Management: Demonstrate your skills in maintaining optimal stock levels, collaborating with our supply chain teams and vendors, and conducting regular audits to keep our inventory records spot on. Utilize ETL processes to streamline data extraction, transformation, and loading, ensuring accurate and timely inventory updates.

Product Analysis and Audits: Regularly analyze our product performance using sales and customer feedback data, make pricing or promotional recommendations, and verify that all products meet company standards. Apply your knowledge of data integration and dimensional modeling to provide deep insights and actionable recommendations.

Product Content Collection: Show off your ability to gather, verify, and manage all product content, ensuring its accuracy, compliance, and alignment with our brand guidelines. Use your experience with Product Information Management (PIM) systems and data feeds to efficiently manage and update our product descriptions across multiple channels.

Data Source Merging: Apply your skills in data integration, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling to merge various data sources, creating a unified and comprehensive view of our inventory and product performance.

Our Core Values at Ammunition Depot

Our vision is to provide our customers with an unmatched experience at every turn, from A to Z. To achieve this, we remain true to our core values:

Continuous Improvement: We are continuously trying to improve our performance across the board. We know we're not perfect, but we are always trying to get better at everything we do.

Ownership: We empower our team members and make sure they have the tools and authority they need to perform. Our people seek to not only identify a problem but to be ready with a potential solution, too.

Integrity: The most important thing to us is doing the right thing. If the golden rule is still golden for you, you’ll fit in well.

In addition to our core values, we operate using the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) from the book Traction. This goal-setting and business management philosophy helps us align our team’s efforts and ensures everyone is moving in the same direction. We expect the E-commerce and Analytics Expert to embrace EOS and to participate in setting, pursuing, and achieving team goals.

If these principles resonate with you, we'd love to hear from you.

Preferred Qualifications:

Very strong emphasis on Excel/spreadsheet skills. Ability to perform a Vlookup, sort data, write formulas, sift through, clean up, and efficiently perform mass catalog updates on hundreds to thousands of products at a time.

Experience with Magento or similar e-commerce platforms preferred.

Experience with product inventory systems preferred. Proven experience in merchandising, inventory management, or a similar role that requires comparable skills.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in SQL, data analysis, reporting, and inventory management software.

Superior attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of Product Information Management (PIM) systems and experience with data feeds.

Experience in the shooting sports/outdoor adventure verticals is a plus.

This position requires a daily commute to our Boca Raton office. It is not a remote position.

If you're ready to put your unique skills to the test and contribute to a growing business, then you could be the E-commerce Product Architect we're seeking.
