Test Engineer

Job Description

Summary: Seeking a Test Engineer with a strong background in systems or structures testing and design, CAD modelling, and fixture design and analysis.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in systems or structures testing or design

Bachelor of Science in Engineering discipline from ABET, or equivalent, accredited institution

Proficiency in CAD Modelling - 3DX or CATIA v5 required

Experience with structural or systems testing

Knowledge in fixture design and analysis

Familiarity with composites and metallic primary structures

Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Must be U.S. Persons as defined by the ITAR (22 CFR ?120.15)

Experience using PXI, cDAQ NI Hardware

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of Fatigue & Damage Tolerance analysis

Prior experience performing liaison / MRB activities in aerospace stress applications

Experience with manufacturing-based ERP systems, such as Oracle

Experience with the design of flight vehicles or vehicle systems to a set of requirements or standards such as CFR 14, Part 400, Part 23 and 25, military or NASA

Responsibilities:

Design Iron Bird Lab then transition into test execution phase.

Develop tests plans for validation of complex mechanical components.

Write test plans and procedures to define execution of tests.

Interface with internal customers to establish specific test requirements.

Work with support teams to procure test stand hardware.

Collaborate with supply chain team for outside contracts.

Participate in the review and release process. Ensure durability, reliability, safety of assigned scope.

Pay: 63-84

Pay Details: $63.00 to $84.00 per hour
