Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Engineering firm in business for decades is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Nashville, Tennessee!

Responsibilities:

Manage, direct and supervise projects including schedule and budget

Manage/direct internal design staff for total mechanical systems design for specific projects

Coordinate with external design teams

Make mechanical systems design calculations including hydraulic calculations, piping stress analysis and energy/system modeling

Build/maintain client relationships and opportunities

Assist with preparation of project proposals (project write-ups, resumes, etc.)

Requirements:

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering

7+ years of experience preferred

P. E. License

Project management experience

Knowledge engineering theories/methodologies and project approach and system design

Salary is commensurate with experience.
