Job Requirements:

Collaborates in the creation, review, and implementation of clinical policies and procedures and /or educational materials to assure quality services and compliance with State/ Federal regulations and current standard of practice.

Solves quality improvement challenges and implements action plans for improvement with appropriate members of the team

Assists and oversees completion and timely return of Plans of Corrections or other related documents required by governmental agencies.

Performs facility audits and provides support in developing corrective action plans and follow-up as required

Provides support to facilities to ensure implementation of processes and resolution of deficiencies

Participates in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) meetings

Works collaboratively with facilities and regional team members to ensure that each facility identifies appropriate clinical staffing levels

Provides orientation to DON, ADON and Staff Development nurses

Participates in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) meetings

Provides orientation to DON, ADON and Staff Development nurses

Embraces the “Kingston Approach” to building effective teamwork and communications with all Regional Staff members and facility leadership

Demonstrates flexibility in response to unexpected changes to work volume, acuity, staffing and scheduling

Travels to facilities as needed, Travels 75% of the time

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse License in state of Ohio

Direct experience in long term care, quality assurance, and Director of Nursing roles.

Thorough knowledge of long-term care State and Federal Regulatory and Survey process

Knowledge of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) and Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) processes

Experience in formulating policies and developing/implementing new strategies

Minimum of 5 years long-term care experience preferred

Strong interpersonal communication skills and professional conduct

Proficient in Point Click Care EMR.
