Are you available to work part-time and believe in the power of play? Imagine Children's Musuem is looking for someone to work up to two days per week supporting our employees in the Human Resources office.

Position Summary:

The Human Resources Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for maintaining employee records, data entry, and internal customer support.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

Updates and maintains employee records online including new hire setup and document retention.

Manages Human Resources inbox and responding timely.

Supports the onboarding process to include tracking employee paperwork and orientation.

Answers policy and procedures questions for employees and managers.

Monitors and tracks performance management review process.

Supports benefits open enrollment and answers benefit questions.

Escalates employee issues and concerns to the Director of Human Resources.

Ensures HR forms are up to date online and throughout the organization.

Supports Payroll in answering questions regarding time and attendance.

Supports HR projects as assigned by Director of Human Resources.Requirements:

Position Requirements:

Ability to work two days per week onsite.

Microsoft Office computer suite skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and basic Excel.

Strong interpersonal and written communications skills. Ability to speak in front of groups and convey information effectively. Personable, with ability to positively motivate others.

Enjoys working independently and as part of a team.

Education and/or Experience:

High School diploma

2+ years Human Resources work experience a plus

Supervisory Responsibility:

None

Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard on a daily basis.

Speak and hear sufficiently to communicate clearly in person, over the telephone, and in small groups.

Mental stamina for problem solving and dealing with stressful situations; prioritizing multiple tasks; interpreting and applying oral/written instructions.

No ongoing and consistent extraordinary physical effort or strain involved in this position.

This is a part-time position, onsite in Everett. The starting pay rate is $25.00 an hour. All part-time employees receive accrued sick time, anniversary appreciation day and other museum perks!
