Careers AdvancementWe are seeking a Caregiver and or Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our team who is able to remain professional in ALL scenarios. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of seniors and people with disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities include light housekeeping and errands, medication reminders, completing home safety assessments, and conducting quality assurance visits. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, knowledgeable, and reliable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs work under the supervision of the Supervising Nurse

Performs nurse aide duties, not limited to the personal care of the patient (bathing, dressing, or hygiene, toileting activities, and feeding), transferring and ambulation activities, range of motion exercises, vital signs (temperature, pulse rate, respiration rate, and blood pressure), and post mortem care.

Receives direction from licensed nurses in planning and carrying out nursing aide care.

Observe and report to the licensed nurse the physical and psychological condition of the patient including any changes.

Reports safety hazards and unusual incidents involving patients, visitors, or self to the Supervising Nurse and to the office.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience as a Caregiver, CMT, or similar role is preferred

First aid and CPR certified preferred

At least 2 years experience with an active CMT License

Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills

Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to lift heavy objects
