OVERVIEW
Canto is looking for an experienced UX designer to join its growing design team. In this role, you'll be collaborating with a distributed team of product owners, development partners, and designers to spearhead new products and features within the Canto ecosphere, as well as refactor existing features. You'll work with the Head of User Experience to drive process, best practices, and evangelize good user experience within he product delivery organization.
WHAT YOU'LL DO AT CANTO
Be the voice of the user, understand their frustrations, needs, and wants within the Digital Asset Management space
Lead user research initiatives to elicit and validate requirements
Conceptualize designs that solve complex problems by creating user flows, wireframes, comps, and prototypes
Collaborate with developers and product owners to ensure high quality implementations of designs and interactions
Use and contribute to the ever-evolving Canto design system
Conduct user testing sessions and interview end users to verify designs
Present designs and research findings to our cross-functional partners to foster a collaborative design process WHO YOU ARE
A results-oriented, persuasive, and meticulous designer focused on best in class user experience
You seek insight from all perspectives, you're a listener and consensus-builder among diverse stakeholders
Collaboration is in your DNA WHAT YOU'VE ACCOMPLISHED
4-6 years of experience working in UX, interaction design, or visual design
Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, related field or equivalent practical experience
Portfolio showcasing your proficiency in translating user needs and product requirements into great experiences, highlighting your working process
Proficiency with industry standard design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
Familiarity with HTML and CSS; React a plus
Experience designing with a design system
Experience working in a Scrum environment
