Job Description

Looking to do well by doing GOOD? Join an exciting young practice that vindicates rights and changes America's vocabulary about workplace equity. The Center for Employment Justice (CEJ) represents women, minorities, whistleblowers and victims of harassment and abuse in the workplace. Read the headlines of how CEJ CEO Pam Keith (formerly of Temple Law Offices) is taking on police departments, fire departments, government entities and private employers, to change them from the inside out.

We take on big stakes litigation to vindicate the civil rights of working people, structuring everything we do to make tenacious legal representation affordable. CEJ is not about face-time, billable hours, cut-throat working conditions or burning out our lawyers. We are about a collaborative approach to the law that gives working class people a real fighting chance against big firms and deep pockets. If you like a good fight, and want your efforts to make a difference for our community and country, in addition to your wallet, consider joining us.

CEJ is offering a competitive salary based on experience, + percentage of revenue generated. The position is principally remote, and applicants must be (or be willing to become) licensed to practice in the District of Columbia. Preference for lawyers who are licensed in MD and/or VA. We are looking for lawyers with 5+ years of employment litigation experience, and sufficient knowledge to take on cases with minimal to no supervision. A book of business is not required as we are inundated with work.

Please send resume and writing sample to . All interviews will be conducted by ZOOM. We are looking for candidates who can start IMMEDIATELY.
