Job Description:
This position is responsible for evaluating in-process and finished products while monitoring plant activities in sanitation and production, in addition to reviewing and filing documents.
Essential Duties:
Evaluate in-process and finished products according to product specifications
Review and file sanitation and production documents
Document control
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Perform a pre-operational walk-through, ATP swabbing, monitor GMPs and formulate corrective action reports
Check-in ingredients, raw materials, and packaging supplies
Monitor rework products in quarantine
Calibrate thermometers, scales, and refractometers
Check plant magnet strengths
Verify rodent control program
Create Scholle and Parasan water
Run solid tests on CEM and vacuum oven
Support with the implementation of SQF regulations in the facility.
HACCP and SQF certified – preferred but not needed.
Support other departmental functions in Quality Control programs
Education/Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
Two to five years experience in a food processing plant or manufacturing environment.
