General Description:
The following is a summary of the goals & responsibilities of the store manager at Valvoline Express Care. Simply put, the three primary goals are exactly the same as our corporate goals:
To deliver outstanding customer service, professionally, safely & efficiently;
To train, develop and lead excellent, motivated, high potential team members; and
To operate and grow a profitable auto service and repair business.

The following job duties and responsibilities are therefore designed to guide our managers and teams towards our shared service goals, as well as to ensure the training, professional growth and well-being of our employees, and to promote the long-term business interests of the Company.
Store Manager – Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations, remedy customer complaints promptly, and ensure customer satisfaction metrics are met
Attend manager meetings and establish good working relationships with staff
Maintains sales productivity, store appearance and merchandising standards.
Schedule employees for effective center coverage and efficient use of labor and ensure accurate time-clock use
Resolve customer complaints; Administer employee discipline as required; Discharge employees as required
Monitor cash register functions and credit card handling
Provide thorough training to new employees
Inspect engines for leaks
Top off other fluids in the transmission or braking system
Perform tire pressure checks and inflate as needed
Replace cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as required
