Allied Consultants, Inc. is an Austin-based firm which has for 32 years been a premier provider of technical and business professionals to clients in Texas. We are currently seeking an experienced Network Engineer to be a key resource on a technical services team.

Responsibilities:

We seek a driven, results-oriented individual to support the network team. This individual's primary responsibilities will be supporting the building, moving to production of the ScienceLogic technology, and providing ongoing support and maintenance of the network components supported by that implementation. The primary responsibilities of this position are:

Support the building and configuration of the ScienceLogic infrastructure.

Create, test, and move to production the alerting capabilities for the supported network devices.

Monitoring and identification of network events that require mitigation.

Troubleshooting and resolution of escalated network events.

Configuring, implementing, and managing ScienceLogic and/or IT Enterprise Monitoring Systems

4+

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver network solutions.

4+

Configuring, implementing, and managing network devices.

4+

Monitoring and troubleshooting complex network switches, routers, and firewalls.

4+

Operating, managing, and supporting routing protocols, specifically BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and VXLAN.

4+

Operating, managing, and supporting next-generation firewalls.

4+

Operating, managing, and supporting wireless networks.

4+

Operating, managing, and supporting DNS.

4+

Operating, managing, and supporting software-defined networks.

4+

Operating, managing, and supporting network access controls.
