Sodexo is seeking a talented culinary leader to join the team as a Food Operations Manager 1 at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital MWC, a growing 145-bed hospital located in Midwest City, OK.

The Food Operations Manager will be responsible for managing retail operations, patient services, and catering with a focus on enhancing the patient dining experience. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience in a healthcare environment with a culinary background.

We are looking for candidates who will:

manage the daily food production including production planning and controls;

ensure Sodexo Culinary Standards including recipe compliance and food quality;

manage food costing, controls and compliance;

have high expectations for customer service and quality of food;

have the ability and willingness to develop and train frontline employees;

have a passion for food and innovation; and

have knowledge of special diets and allergens;

The ideal candidate has:

management experience in the food service industry

experience leading a team in a kitchen environment and enforcing safety & sanitation protocols

natural ability to lead and build teams and foster engagement

demonstrate working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems as well as menu graphics programs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
