Position Objective:

Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.

Accountabilities:

Work with our Operations to develop a scope of work and set up a remote or site meeting with Tenant coordinator, Architects, General Contractors and Building officials to establish the extent of the work.

Work with selected Architect from our preferred list and put preliminary plans together and assist with review and approval of plans, landlord approval, permitting, bidding, ETC.

Direct the general contractor bid process, qualify estimates, contracts and assist with selection.

Coordinate with architect and general contractor, establish and maintain the construction schedule.

Respond to requests for information RFIs and coordinate closely with architect and engineer.

Review and approve all signage and coordinate with sign vendor.

Work closely with the operations to ensure all required orders are placed for POS systems, equipment orders, small wares, Coke, Lipton Tea, grand opening kits, ETC.

Work with the GC to set up all Building Inspections to obtain the CO including Health.

Conduct the final punch walk with the operations and general contractor, monitor the punch list items and take photos to share with Operations to show compliance.

Work with Operations to ensure a smooth transition from construction to training.

Follow up to ensure that all closed out documentation is provided to the department by the general contractor.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.

5+ years of Design and/or Construction Management Experience.

5+ years of QSR/Casual Dining Restaurant Experience.

Proven project management experience.

PMP or equivalent certification, preferred.

Willingness to travel to job sites as needed, approximately 50% of the time.

Experience and knowledge with Smartsheet reporting system.

Familiarity with construction/project management software (i.e., Smartsheets, Microsoft Project Scheduler)

Vendor management, build relationship with vendors.

Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs.
