Responsibilities:
The Systems Architect will support the Customer by multitasking effectively in a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities, assisting in the tracking of actions items, identification and understanding of requirements, and supporting division-level communications. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Configuration manager for a data conditioning and processing division; maintaining awareness of in-flight requirements and development across the sponsor's divisions
Facilitate Engineering Review Boards and other technical and business governance sessions and contribute to the division's knowledge management plans and operations
Manage data engineering best practices, standards, and training resources
Act as a trusted advisor on technical and business operations for the sponsor; researching and briefing legacy, current, and leading technological concepts to technical and business leadership
Qualifications:
Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline
Minimum 15 years' experience
Demonstrated knowledge solutions to complex applications problems
Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing
systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
Demonstrated knowledge in enterprise data strategy, data governance practices, data
stewardship principles, data architecture principles, data standards, and metadata management
best practices
Experience with successful full life-cycle software development projects
Ability to translate requirements into end-to-end designs for systems that involve multiple interfaces and supporting data repositoriesFor example, this may include experience with Web Services, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), application integration technologies and approaches, Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing solutions, data management technologies (Extract-Transform-Load (ETL), Data Profiling, Data Mining, Metadata Repositories)

Strong oral and written communications and interpersonal skills
Ability to explain technical issues clearly and accurately to both technical and non-technical audiences
Doctorate (or equivalent experience) in a field related to the position
