SQL/Crystal Reports Automation Specialist - Fully Remote

Location: This position is permanent full remote, with occasion weekend work

Clearance: Ablity to obtain a public trust clearance

Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Seeking a highly qualified and experienced SQL/ Crystal Reports Automation Specialist to analyze, build, and deploy reports for our government stakeholders. Most importantly the incumbent will automate a current process that is performed manually. The Crystal Reports Automation Specialist will also provide development and administration support for the data in various databases. They will design and generate reports that provide insight into daily activities. The Database Administrator responsibilities shall include the analysis, design, implementation, testing, support, and maintenance of a Data Warehouse. Keep updated documentation of the procedures and enhance the system as requested.

Primary Responsibilities:

Create specific reports using Crystal Reports & SQL.

Automation of a manual workflow for reports in multiple formats/time ranges that currently take at least 2-3 hours daily.

Independently provides solutions that meet end-user requirements to provide solutions that further the mission of the customer.

Manage reports library and procedures.

Provides expert-level user support in the research and resolution of complex data issues.

Provide high-level reporting solutions and analytic support for users.

Follow through on all production issues and inquiries to ensure they are resolved promptly.

Create custom reports out of databases.

Analyze the data that is within the databases to provide accurate information.

Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience :

Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS public trust clearance.

3+ years of experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

SQL Server

SQL Server Management Studio

SQL Server Integration Services

Writing and updating existing code in SQL Server

Using Visual Studio

Writing and updating code in Visual Studio

Running command prompts

Running and using .bat files

Knowledge of creating reports in software such as Crystal Reports

Run daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports.

Use WS-FTP Professional software

Preferred:

Knowledge of Oracle databases.

Knowledge of PowerShell.
