Position Overview:

In this growth strategy position, the successful candidate will pursue new initiatives as well as drive organic growth through existing contracts and vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a record of identifying and positioning for success on large and strategic opportunities, and an ability to work collaboratively as part of the larger QinetiQ US portfolio.

Responsibilities:

Deliver strategic growth objectives. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop, execute, and refine the growth strategy to successfully execute transformational growth for the business. Identify and open new markets and develop existing markets. Work with QinetiQ’s leadership as well as across lines of business to mature the pipeline. Achieve yearly sales targets, build a growing and successfully evolving out-year pipeline, and forge essential partnerships across industry.

Deepen strategic client engagement. Develop and maintain high quality relationships with customers and partners, including next generation technology vendors. Engage with these customers, partners, and other DoD stakeholders to identify and qualify new business opportunities. Shape opportunities and our position throughout the opportunity life cycle, including drafting RFI and RFP responses, attending client meetings, submitting white papers, participating in industry presentations and events, etc. Execute call plans to collect information about opportunities, in collaboration with technical staff; propose and test potential solutions, and qualify opportunities.

Lead by example in setting and maintaining standards of behavior, work ethic and values. Mentor junior team members on how to develop and prosecute an opportunity pipeline. Lead, develop, and execute an account growth strategy. Formulate and support the communication and implementation of an integrated business development, capture and proposal strategy that clearly highlights QinetiQ’s value proposition and discriminators. Establish value added teaming strategies and competitive pricing structures to create a profitable return at a winning cost.

Required Qualifications:

At least 7 years of experience in a relevant organization or equivalent federal government role.

Ability to secure a Secret clearance. #qinetiqclearedjob

An entrepreneurial mindset for account development, growth, and business strategy.

Demonstrated ability to develop and support win strategies.

Experience leading cross-functional teams and in-depth knowledge/defined involvement in helping frame, design and execute solutions for challenging business situations.

Experience building client relationships and industry networks.

Experience motivating teams with diverse skills and backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Knowledge of data analytics, artificial intelligence, and technology-enabled solutions.

Knowledge of agency resource planning and budgeting processes and federal acquisition processes and regulations.

Participation in relevant industry communities and associations.
