We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented administrative Sales Coordinator to join our growing team! This position is instrumental in providing crucial support to our sales department, ensuring the achievement and surpassing of sales goals, while maintaining excellent relationships with our customers and sales team.

This is a hybrid role, requiring 2-3 days in our Naperville, IL office.

Special Markets Coordinator Responsibilities:

Act as the primary point of contact for sales representatives, handling inquiries, providing title information, processing sample orders, updating vendor forms and assisting them where needed in their sales pitches.

Consistently and accurately update customer and sales rep databases and compile montly sales reports.

Conduct regular metadata uploads for sales rep agencies, ensuring accurate and up-to-date product information across all platforms.

Prepare and distribute sales materials to showrooms, ensuring they are organized, accurate and visually appealing.

Conduct research on potential accounts as directed, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to the department’s market expansion strategies.

Assist in the development of themed title collections, promotional materials, and customer-specific offerings to enhance sales opportunities.

Coordinate sample product shipments to customers, create mockups for presentations and trade shows, and manage monthly dissemination of marketing materials to showrooms.

Serve as the main contact for author events at Special Markets venues, consulting with authors and event organizers to ensure on-time deliveries.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a similar industry/field.

Exceptional organizational skills with an eye for detail, adept at managing multiple tasks daily.

Proactive, collaborative and growth mindset, passionate about books and contributing to team success.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a positive approach to problem solving.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

Familiarity with industry-specific tools and platforms such as Power BI, FileMaker, Mail Chimp, Edelweiss, LogPro a plus.
