About the Role:
As an Outreach Manager, you will be on the ground floor helping Fabric launch its third expansion into DC and Maryland. As our first hire in this market, we need a trailblazer who’s passionate about our mission and eager to help deepen our impact!
What You’ll be Getting Into:
Building relationships with families in laundromats
Understanding the unique needs of these families and identifying where they need support
Assisting families with public benefits applications like Medicaid, SNAP, and LIHEAP, as well as helping them navigate their health plans
Making referrals to external resources and ensuring all documentation is in order
In addition, as our team grows, your role may evolve to encompass:
Hiring and onboarding new outreach team members
Crafting schedules for outreach staff and managing administrative aspects of the team
Leading and developing a team of outreach specialists, offering guidance and motivation
Setting and overseeing individual and team-based objectives
Finding innovative ways to conduct outreach and structure the outreach team

Qualifications:
Fluency in English and Spanish
Experience in community outreach, field marketing, canvassing, customer service, or sales
A willingness to work inside laundromats
Reliable transportation to travel locally throughout the DC metro area and Maryland
Experience working with high-needs populations
Experience building and managing small teams
Comfort with and desire to learn new technologies
Nice to Haves:
Familiarity with state benefit applications
Salary and Benefits: $65,000 - $75,000
Full-time employees receive a PTO plan, health care coverage, and equity options
