Responsibilities:

Finish parts efficiently and effectively, utilizing your prior experience to maximize productivity and contribute to meeting production targets

Assist in training other employees finishing parts to high specifications

Monitor finished parts in the area and be vigilant in identifying any noticeable quality or production concerns

Conduct first piece inspections in the area, ensuring that they have the correct finish, producing items to the required specifications

Share and suggest process improvement ideas to enhance productivity, quality, and overall operations in the area

Ability to work independently and collaboratively when working with other team members

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED equivalent

Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator/Finisher or a related field, demonstrating a strong understanding of metalworking, specifically finishing processes and techniques

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively assist and train entry-level team members

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Prior experience in process improvement and the ability to identify and implement changes

Able to read and comprehend written and oral instructions

Ability to be a Self-starter

Ability to lift objects as required in a manufacturing setting
