We are Looking for a Data Engineer to:

• be a part of a scrum team working on delivering Front to Back solutions which is used by Risk Officers for daily monitoring.

• act as a specialist focusing on Databases, ETL, Spark with ability to deliver data processing applications.

• write application deployment automation using industry standard deployment and configuration tools.

• should adhere to coding principles and TDD.

• participate in the design and implementation of new system layers utilizing a first-principles understanding of high complexity compute environments.

Your team

This role is for an experienced Spark SQL, MsSql, DB developer to join the IB Credit Risk IT group.

You will be working within the IB Credit Risk Monitoring Crew and working closely with colleagues in London, Switzerland, India and US including T shaped engineers

Your expertise

The successful candidate will be educated to Degree-level and have 5 years+ experience with

• strong logical, analytical and problem-solving skills

• good experience in system design, strong hold on design

principles and commonly used patterns

• strong hold on parallel processing, data intensive

designs.

• strong Datawarehousing knowledge preferably Spark

Sql, MsSql or Oracle

• strong experience on parallelism and performance

tuning.

• used to Agile ways of working

• strong experience in CI/CD tool

• hands on experience with Azure cloud services like,

Azure Databricks, SqlDB, Azure Blob Storage.
