Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
Professional certification in Welding Engineering (e.g., Certified Welding Engineer, AWS Certified Welding Inspector.)
Preferred experience with High-Frequency Continuous welding, Laser Welding, and wire feed welding.
Additional Skills/or Abilities:
Effective communication and project management abilities.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
Able to develop programs for robotic welders and verify the program meets the requirements.
Maintenance of the welding equipment to identify best practices for PMs.
Understands the proper way to hold or present parts to the welders.
Ability/willingness to travel to all our client’s facilities.
