Overview

The Resident Medical Officer (RMO) MBBS plays a pivotal role in providing medical care and support to patients within our healthcare facility. RMOs are responsible for ensuring the well-being of patients, diagnosing illnesses, and providing appropriate medical treatment and management.

Key Responsibilities

Conducting medical assessments and examinations of patients.

Prescribing and administrating medication as appropriate.

Responding to medical emergencies and providing immediate care.

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

Monitoring and recording patients' medical progress and vital signs.

Assisting in surgical procedures and post-operative care.

Offering medical advice and counseling to patients and their families.

Participating in clinical audits and reporting on medical activities.

Adhering to medical and ethical standards of practice.

Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient medical records.

Participating in continuous medical education and training.

Contributing to the maintenance of a safe and clean medical environment.

Providing accurate handover of patient care to incoming medical staff.

Following infection control and prevention protocols.

Supervising junior medical staff when necessary.

Required Qualifications

MBBS degree and completion of internship and residency programs.

Valid medical license and registration as a Medical Practitioner.

Proven experience working in a medical or hospital setting.

Proficiency in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions.

Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure and emergency situations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Familiarity with electronic medical record systems.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.

Knowledge of medical laws, regulations, and ethics.

Capability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Willingness to work in rotational shifts and handle on-call duties.

Ability to uphold patient confidentiality and privacy.

Capability to maintain composure and empathy in challenging patient interactions.
